Health Industry Experts are reporting that the swine flu vaccination that will be available this coming fall will possibly require two vaccinations that will need to be spaced about three to four weeks apart. According to the Los Angeles Times, Health Officials are claiming that the swine flu vaccination does not provoke as strong an immune response as does the seasonal flu vaccine, it may be necessary to administer two doses of the swine-flu inoculation for it to be most effective. "If two doses are needed, they will be given perhaps three to four weeks apart" said Dr. Jonathan Fielding, Los Angeles County's health officer.

The Novel H1N1 vaccine is not intended to replace the Seasonal Flu vaccine – it is intended to be used along-side seasonal flu vaccine.
