Chevron has selected Mobile Medical Corporation (MMC) to administer their local well-site substance abuse program in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. Phase I of the project will begin testing at fourteen working drill sites in Western Pennsylvania. The well-sites are active, on average, twelve to eighteen months and employ/house 25 to 50 around the clock. Chevron follows strict protocol that their facilities and work areas will be free of alcohol, illegal drugs and other banned substances. Everyone on the sight, either living there or working for the day, agrees and is subject to unannounced drug and alcohol screenings. Once the MMC team arrives the well-site is on lock down until everyone is tested. This is just one of many precautions Chevron administers to ensure the safety of all personnel on location and compliance with all applicable environmental regulations.
