The first full week of March is recognized nationally as Women in Construction Week (WIC Week).  

MMC is a certified Women's Business Enterprise that supports Women in Construction Week's mission of highlighting women as an important aspect of the construction industry, raising awareness of the opportunities available for women in the construction industry, and emphasizing the growing role of women in the industry. According to the most recent data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics there was 17.6% increase of women working in construction between 2017-2018, the highest in 20 years. There was also 94% increase in women owned construction firms from 2007-2018. 

Women in Construction Week is hosted by the National Association of Women in Construction, and the theme for 2022 is "Envision Equality" which is a focus on "raising awareness of opportunities for women to enjoy a wide range of roles in the construction industry, from tradeswomen to project managers to administrative positions and even business ownership." according to the WIC Week website. 

MMC was founded in 1990 by Cynthia J. Latsko, President and Chief Executive Officer. MMC is 100% women-owned and  in addition to our founder, women in leadership include: On-site medical Division Medical Director Dr. Valerie Lint of St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee, Ohio, Vice President Marianne Karg, Director of Employer Health Services Kelly Wilhelm, and others.
