Influenza (Flu)is an infectious respiratory virus that can cause mild to severe symptoms including fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, fatigue, and more.  Flu season typically begins in October with peaks between the months of December and February.

Here are some ways to take preventative steps as Flu season draws near:

  • Cover coughs and sneezes
  • Wash hands often
  • If feeling sick, stay home or if sick limit time with others until symptoms subside
  • Avoid touching face
  • Clean and disinfect commonly used surfaces
  • Get the Flu Vaccine

Every flu season is different but what remains the same is that the flu can result in lost work and according to the Mayo Clinic, "getting an influenza vaccine — though not 100% effective — is the best way to prevent the misery of the flu and its complications."

Don't let the flu wreck your project or workplace's productivity, contact Mobile Medical Corporation (MMC) to schedule a convenient onsite flu clinic.

MMC clinics are utilizing the Quadrivalent Influenza Vaccine which is designed to protect against four different flu viruses and is approved for individuals six months and older.
